 Northwood Harbor Neighborhood Association Boundries:
45th street north to 59th street from Broadway to Flagler.

The Northwood Harbor Historic District is located in West Palm Beach, Florida and covers the area east of Broadway to the lake from 45th Street to 59th Street. It is the most northern historic district in West Palm Beach. Development of the area began in 1939 for winter homes and summer cottages. The district showcases a collection of home styles including but not limited to Spanish, Mission Revival, Craftsman and post war architecture.

Northwood Harbor has tree-lined streets, friendly neighbors and access to 3 waterfront parks. Brian Chappel Park has a fishing pier. Osprey Park has a children’s play area, dog park, heart trail and a beach area for launching canoes and kayaks. Gettler Park is a passive park with benches for relaxation and viewing the boats on the intracoastal. Northwood Harbor also has 3 clubs, 2 of which are open to the public. The Scuba Club provides scuba diving lessons. The Sailing Club of the Palm Beaches offers sailing lessons. The Flotilla Club is a private club established prior to World War II and during World War II was a Coast Guard Station. The club still has the permanent Coast Guard Insignia on one of the buildings. Northwood Harbor was designated historic in 2006.
